According to the program director, Ts. Dr. Peniel Ang Soon Ern, the program, which took place from 1st to 5th of October at the Civil Engineering Technology Laboratory, UTHM Pagoh Campus, aimed to prepare FTK graduates with the skills and qualifications needed in the Industry 4.0 era, in line with current industry requirements in Malaysia. Interestingly, in this training, the participants were provided with a comprehensive BIM Course Module developed by the BIM teaching staff led by Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamad Hairi Osman.

This module served as the primary reference, exposing students to both theoretical and practical aspects of BIM focusing on structural design elements of buildings. After the comprehensive examination, PITC has confirmed that these students are qualified to receive the Competency Certificate in Building Information Modelling Autodesk Revit (BIM-AR) Structural Design, endorsed by Bina Initiatives Sdn. Bhd., and the certification is recognized worldwide.
