BIM Autodesk Revit Architecture

The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Autodesk Revit Architecture training program was successfully held on the 18th and 19th of January, 2024, at the Computer Aided Design Laboratory of UTHM Pagoh. This training session attracted a total of 71 participants, from undergraduate students who keen on advancing their skills in architectural design and modeling within BIM environment.

Adding Construction-Related Skill and Competency to the Participants

The training covered a comprehensive range of topics, from basic navigation within the Autodesk Revit environment to advanced modeling techniques, including the creation of complex building component in 3D model. Participants were also introduced to the collaborative aspects of BIM, learning how to work within a shared model environment, which is crucial for the integrated approach required in contemporary construction projects.

This initiative is not only aligned with the academic curriculum but also significantly contributes to the career prospects of the participants. Proficiency in BIM and Autodesk Revit Architecture is increasingly recognized as a critical skill in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, opening up a wide range of opportunities in design, construction management, and project coordination.
